i have same issue with canon t3i (exposure meter no response ) but not sure this is a fault of qdslr
have tried dslr remote pro,dslr controller,and canon eos utility exposure meter in these apps do not work for me either!
if you have found solution please post.

exposure meter canon t3i
i cannot get qdslrdashboard exposure meter to respond to canon t3i
have tried v2.7 & 2.8 wireless & usb still no joy was told meter reacts to
half shutter press ( auto focus button ) any suggestions welcome!
