D3300 bricks Raspberry Pi

Hi, I have a Nikon D3300 and running DDserver on a Raspberry Pi Zero W. Using a Nikon D40X I have no problem. Everything remotely works fine - no problems there. The strange thing is, the D3300 IS OFF but just by plugging the cable from the Raspberry Pi in to the camera, the RPi just stops. SSH conn...

Re: DDserver on RaspberryPi can't get list of Camera connected

Having tried now with a specific 0.5m USB OTG Cable - Type Micro-B to Mini-B, I no longer have any problems. Clearly having to connect to a OTG cable and using a 1 meter cable from the camera to the OTG cable was the cause of all the problems.

Re: DDserver on RaspberryPi can't get list of Camera connected

My camera is a Nikon D40X. If I connect the camera to my PC, everything is fine when I use DigiCamControl . What I have noticed, I get this problem when I am powering the RPi from the PC or a power pack which can output uptp 2A. When I do use the recommended RPi mains adapter, I can get a connection...

DigiCamControl DDServer and TP-LINK MR3020

On the DigiCamControl website, it is recommended, for control over WiFi using packet forwarding, to add the DDServer software on a TP-LINK MR3040.
Has anyone tried this using the TP-LINK MR3020. The latter is around £35, while the suggested router is around £200+.
Many thanks
