WiFi connection to Nikon Z9
With the latest version of dslrdashboard on Windows 10, I'm able to connect my laptop to the Nikon Z9's WiFi, and then dslrdashboard finds the Z9 and connects to the camera. Then the WiFi drops just a few seconds later. By contrast, controlling the Z9 via USB works, as far as I can tell with limited...

automatic reconnect
When working with the camera, away from a laptop, if the wireless drops it will not re-connect automatically. So images I wanted to end up on the laptop do not. It would be really helpful to have an automatic reconnect feature - if an existing connection drops, just try again every few seconds. Perh...

Re: connecting Nikon D500...
I'll be posting this a few places.
The D500 1.20 firmware allows the camera to start WiFi without SnapBridge. And then one can connect to it from qDslrDashboard. Bingo. I'll do more testing later, but for now it works

Re: Using the integrated WiFi of the Nikon D850 with qDSLRDashboard
[...] To enable Wi-Fi for qDslrDashboard to work, click Download Pictures. If you haven’t yet been able to re-connect with a previously established Bluetooth pairing, this should almost immediately connect via Bluetooth, especially if you already chose your device in the camera’s menu in the previo...

has anyone used qDslrDashboard with a WT-7a?
Shortening a long story, I finally gave up some other things and now have a WT-7a attached to my D500. Tentatively, it is great. It quickly and reliably pushes images to my tablet (surface pro 2017) with FTP, and the HTTP controls work well. Good range. However, I of course want to use it with qDslr...

Re: Still need tp link mr3040 with d500?
airnef has a good writeup: http://testcams.com/airnef/#SnapBridge It would be really interesting if DSLRDashboard could simulate the Snapbridge connectivity to turn on Wifi directly. Especially on Windows, as I use a Surface tablet when working with dslrdashboard, and Snapbridge does not run on Wind...
