Re: raw histogram

Try to use a picture style (Canon) or picture control (Nikon) with least possible contrast added as a workaround. Some newer Nikon cameras have a picture control profile called "Flat" which would do the trick. If it's not available for your camera I think both brand has a profile called &q...

Re: App hangs when connecting to Nikon D5300

Nobody was talking about Windows phone. My video shows iOs. But after recording the video I realized that the original question was actually regarding an Android phone. Therefore I made another attempt with Android which proved that qDd works even if WMU is installed. I knew it lready that it works ...

Re: App hangs when connecting to Nikon D5300

GonzoG: You may be surprised, but right now I made one attempt. I started WMU, connected to the camera (D750), then started qDD ( I even didn't kill WMU) and voila. qDD connected to the camera. If you don't belive it, I recorded a video of the whole process https://youtu.be/SUG57Uw3Sz8 Edit: It does...

Re: App hangs when connecting to Nikon D5300

Why would anybody need to uninstall Nikon WMU? If it's installed but not started it doesn't interfere with qDD in any way. I have both apps installed on two mobile devices ( iPad and Android phone ) and both co-exist without any problem. Because it does not allow qDD to connect with camera. Launch ...

Re: Understanding Reference and floating reference

Try to have a look into this thread http://dslrdashboard.info/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=1519 Perhaps you will be able to find at least a partial answer to your question But as for your question, when your images are becoming underexposed the AHG should be able to compensate for it, provided you...

Re: Average pool size/Correction every frame

Since I don't want to create a new thread, I ask one question regarding AHG calculations here. If I hit the "set reference" button, will the last captured frame be considered or the actual average value as the reference? If I got it right, when setting the reference, depending current sett...

HDMI has been present in Nikon cameras for many years. My old good D90 which is a camera that is 7,5 years old has HDMI output. And it wasn't even a top end camera.

Wrong Liveview zoom values qDD 0.3.4

When zooming in the LV mode, the "Live view zoom" menu displays wrong values when Nikon D90 is connected (see screenshot).

When using my other camera (D750), correct values are shown, which means the bug is specific to exact camera type.
