You can upgrade the OpenWrt firmware with the sysupgrade image.
You need to download the sysupgrade image that matches your MR3040 version (V1, V2) from here: http://dslrdashboard.info/downloads/

It will create a qdd_<date_time>.log file in your Documents folder.
Please run it and try to connect to the camera and send me the log file (to the support email)

Yes it should work, I was running qDD on Cubieboard2 that is only a dual core so on RPI2 should work better.

Currently it is the only way.
Hope in future I can change this.

Sony camera will not work with TP-Link.
It will only work with the camera built in wireless.

You probably need to enable installing application from unknown sources in the Security settings

Don't own a RPI but actually yesterday managed to order a RPI 2 so will see.

You should check the PTP classes.

'Share Connecion' allows to use a DSLR connected to one instance of qDslrDashboard from another qDslrDashboard instance running on another device.
