Re: qDslrDashboard Live View Frame Rates
Hey Klaus! Thats the problem, once you hit record with the d5100, it cuts the video feed to an external monitor, and you only get live view on the nikon screen. You can only use an external monitor when shooting 24fps video, but not at 30fps. Thats why the app is better than the camera alone. Hi Ja...

Re: qDslrDashboard Live View Frame Rates
Thanks for the reply! Because the d5100 doesnt output to a bigger monitor while recording video at 30p, it makes it very hard to use the camera in filming movies. When the camera is on a jib, the built in lcd is too small. So to use the app, as an external monitor is a blessing, coupled with full c...

Re: qDslrDashboard Live View Frame Rates
remember what a liveview is supposed for: a kind of focusing screen/ground-glass. Here it doesn´t need more than 12-15fps i mean.oxenham1 wrote:Im about 13 fps on an android tablet and d5100.
I assume theres no way to change the settings in qdslr?

What sense would higher framerates make at all?

Re: Application Crash Galaxy Tab 4 and qDslrDashboard Dashboard v0.2.9
To answer my own question, the ARM version was the correct one. Works great. Now if I can only get it to work with my iPhone and iOS. Hi! Works fine for me on my "old" iPhone4 (!) - but a bit slow . . and: it´s too small for relaxed use. But as a backup it´s ok! I´m looking for...

Re: flashing a TP-Link WR 3040
Hi Zoltan! Thank you for clearing the issue! The problem was: there already WAS a firmware-update on the device. So it refused my attempt to update via 192.168.0.1 - i just needed to use the 192.168.1.1 procedure only for installing the server. The descriptions nevertheless mentioned to use 192.168....

flashing a TP-Link WR 3040
Hi! First of all: i´m not good in IT-hardware being a photographer . . Though i use a bunch of HighEnd software for photo-/video processing. But today i ran into issues flashing a new TP-Link WR3040 for the use with QDSLR-Dashboard. I´m on a MacPro running Mavericks and i use a Nikon D800. ...
