I presume you use the old Android only DslrDashboard that I don't maintain anymore.
The new application is called qDslrDashboard and is cross platform and can be downloaded from the same link.

Re: Raspberry Pi - DDServer - No Dslr Device Found
You should prevent the OS from mounting the camera SD card.
Yes it allows multiple clients but at same time only one client could be connect to one camera.

Re: Connecting to Sony NEX 6
For Sony cameras only the camera built in wireless connection will work.
You pair your device wireless with the camera wireless.
Start qDD and press the 'Sony wireless' button.
Sony camera will not work with the TP-Link router.

Re: qDDB not connecting
What interval did you use and what was the slowest shutter speed?
Did you use the qDD interval timer or an external one?

Re: Transferring only JPEG's on MacBoook
If image review is enabled and the image format RAW+JPG only the JPG file is downloaded.
If the interval timer is active the JPG preview is not downloaded but if you set the capture destination to local then both files will be downloaded, I can't change that.

Re: Interval Timer behavior (or misbehavior)
Yes I noted this in the manual
The camera needs some time after it finished the capture that depends on camera model and used SD card (speed).
Usually it is around 3-4 second.
qDD will send the capture command at the defined interval but if the camera is not ready it will not accept it.

Re: Multiple Cameras not showing up
Just for record I tested this again and device discovery works for the client router to, no long press required.
For the AP router it does not work but it is because my AP router is setup in a different way.
