Don't know. Those 2 have similar hardware but I wouldn't try to install mr3040 FW on mr3020.

My cables that don't work with router also work with others adapter. Only mr3040 drops connection with them.

One more thing question - have you tried different USB cables ?? I've noticed that Canon DSLRs need cables with longer plugs. Friend has 6D and only one of my cables worked with it. With others there was no connection at all. Also had similar problems with my Nikons - on 2 of my cables router droppe...

Log shows that your camera disconnects from router after 60 seconds.
It might be camera problem (hardware or some settings) or router problem.
If you can try connecting different DSLR.

Do you already know that it is possible to record video in NIKON D3X00 with dslrdashboard using a simple bluethoot command of a selfie stick by sending the command "ENTER"?

D3100 and D3200 won't record wideo with remote USB control no matter what you use.

With iPhones and iPads you can only use WiFi. There is no USB port on them.
For WiFi you need a wireless router with USB port (TP-Link MR3040 or Hame MPR-A2).

Checked D5200, D7000 and D610.
External mic does not work with D5200 while camera connected to qDD.

Same with D5200 - external mic does not work when camera is connected via USB.
Apparently it's camera limitation.

Forgott... There is a camera limitation in some Nikons. External mic won't work with USB connection.

qDD does nothing with camera or microphone. If it's not working than you have to use different.

"microphone" and 3.5mm jack does not mean that it will work with camera.
