Does the Android version of qDslrDashboard have a persistent notification? So I could transfer the pictures to my phone as I shoot, even with the screen off/locked.
If it doesn't, do you plan to add this feature?

No it does not have.
Not sure how this should work?

qDD on Android works in background so it will download photos if you have set saving them to device memory or turned on "Image review after capture".

Notification is not needed for this.
