Nikon Z6/7

Apparently the new Nikon Z6 and Z7 implement Open Wi-Fi (per https://lrtimelapse.com/review/nikon-z6-and-z7/). Do you intend to add support for these cameras?

Edit: According to the above LRTimelapse review:
"Via the undongled WiFi I was able to connect the camera directly to my Smartphone and use qDSLRDashboard to control the camera. LiveView is not working yet, but this will forsure be supported with one of the next qDDB updates. The LRTimelapse page however, with the possibility to make the so-called “Holy Grail” transitions, is already usable! Thus, with the Z6 and Z7 cameras a big limitation for the time-lapse community has been removed!"

This sounds like excellent news! So my revised question is, when do you expect to be able to support LiveView on the Z6/7?

I hope so. Also hoping that Nikon will release documentation for developers like it did before for their cameras.

I can't get qDSLRdashboard to work with my Z6 (using WiFi). Do you have to change the port (the preset is 15740) maybe?

On what platform?
I need the Z6 USB product ID to be able to add it (probably 0x0443).

Hi Hubaiz and thanks for the great app btw!
I tried it using the Android app (Android 9.0) and through the direct WiFi connection to the Z6.
I shouldn't have to use Nikon SnapBridge + Bluetooth correct? As far as I knew the WiFi is directly accesible with Z7+Z6.

Just plugged my Z6 in the computer via USB. Under "Hardware ID" it says USB\VID_04B0&PID_0443 and USB\VID_04B0&PID_0443&REV_0100.
Does that help?

So I just tried using it connected to the phone (OnePlus 6T) directly via USB with a USB-OTG cable, and it works so far but there's no LiveView.
Otherwise everything seemed to work fine. Can't get it work over WiFi still.

Thanks.
The Z6 is not yet added so it will not work (only the Z7).
I needed the USB ID, now will add and release a new version during next week.

Thanks for the reply. I'm running Windows 10 Pro, latest version. The Z6 USB Product ID does indeed appear to be 0x0443; see attached screenshot.
