[Solved] Bulb control

Post by FalCT60 »

Hello,
When set to Bulb, there seems to be no way to trigger the shutter : if pressing the camera symbol, it displays a menu with hms settings instead of opening the shutter. Next tap would ideally release it. Just like a classic remote control.
Thanks in advance,
J.-L.

After you select the 'BULB' shutter speed and press the 'Capture' button you will get a dialog where you can set the BULB time or just press the 'Capture' button where you will present with a counter and a 'Stop' button that you can use to stop the BULB capture.

Hello,
Yes for the menu : it appears when I press the camera icon (= the capture).
No for the next : pressing [Capture] (left to [Cancel] and [Clear]) does nothing but returning to the main screen.
Unless I did miss something very obvious.
NB : LV button has no effect either in Bulb mode.
Rgrds,

Nikon D700.
Works with the D4s.
Could not get ahold of the cable for 1v1, so not tested yet.

The D700 does not have the required remote command to activate BULB mode.

OK, so neither a feature request, nor a bug...
Thanks for all,
J.-L.

BTW : I will have to test thoroughly what does or not work with each of my cameras...
