Image Gallery Previews are Black

Hi All. Very new to dslrdashboard but finally up and running after some teething problems with OTG cables etc. So i'm tethering a Nikon D750 to a Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e via USB cable and OTG adaptor. Everything seems to be functioning fine, except image previews in the gallery are not appearing. They are just black squares. Image seems to be there, but just not previewing. Same conditions with any format RAW or any quality of jpeg. Not sure if its a camera setting. Tried nearly every option with the app. See attached. Any advice appreciated.
