I did operational tests of "focus stacking" on Nikon.
I have some questions and suggestions :
On D90 : It is necessary to have had deadline of 1s at least between every photo otherwise the sequence (by examples 5 images) takes only a single photo.
On D800 : It is necessary to have had deadline of 2s at least between every photo otherwise the sequence (by examples 5 images) takes only a single photo.
Why this delay, why on 1s on d90 and 2s on D800 ???
If a delay is required why not impose default (or give it as a parameter in the setup screen)
On nikon the 'steep' focus is configurable, after some testing I think the value of 200 is used for standard pictures.
Default value is 1 and you must click enormously to pass 200 (for example).
suggestions:
To directly provide value to the keyboard
Having the choice of a multiplier (such as for the delay)
Power set typical values (10, 50, 100, 200, 400, by example)
