interval timer crashes

Hello,

my setup is canon 5d2 + Magic lantern + huawei mediapad (arm) + qdslrdashboard 0.2.7.4, using usb otg

Old dslrdashboard timelapse function works fine.

qdslrdashboard crashes always when using interval timer. Maybe 5-10 pictures and crash.

i did not get any other versions to work than 0.2.7.4

my tablet is huawei mediapad m1 8.0 s8-301l

can i some how give you log file or something?

What was the slowest shutter speed in LRTimelapse?
What was the interval yo used?

In my test i used several different intervals. 4-15s.
Slovest shutter speed in lrt was first 4s, then i tested 10s.

when qdslr crashed, it did freeze the canon 5d2 to take photo, like there where long bulb exposure timer runing, but when i force shutdown camera, and looked last foto, it was not long exposure photo that was taken... photo: http://kulttuurikuva.fi/mch/20150404_105206.jpg
to get away from that message, i must take usb cabel off from camera.

okay, i just run few more tests, and it seems that qdslr crashes only when i save raw+jpg. I just tested over 200 shots using timer, ramping, lrt auto holy grail, and so on... all test where succesfull, but when i changed picture quality from small jpg to raw+jpg qdslr crashed right after next shot.

I repeated this test several times, every time same. whit just jpg, works great, but when raw+jpg and interval timer running is it crash. here is poor quality video from this test:

I did some test using my laptop, same thing happens.
i can take shots using raw+jpg whit no problems. but when i start interval timer qdslr crashes.
I also tested several different timer times, like 5s, 25s, ... i does't seem to have anything to do whit this problem what interval time a have.

Just to be sure, i have unselected show capture history after captue, and image preview after capture.

Can you try this debug build: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BxMZ8X ... sp=sharing

It will create a new qdd_<date_time>.log file in your Documents folder for each run.

Try it once with the JPG only (like 10-20 shoots)
Then close qDD and start again and try with RAW+JPG

Okey, did the test and raw+jpg lasted longer than usual before crash.

In these logs you didn't enter LRTimelapse at all.
You just started the interval timer from the device screen.

Crash happens whit interval timer, i founded crashing when i first use lrtimelapse. In lrtimelapse when i used interval timer, crash first happened. After testing more, i found out that crashing occurs using raw and interval timer. I also found out that when viewing photos from camera sd card, when files are raw, crash also occurs.

I do test tomorrow and send new log files, lrtimelapse + interval timer...

After capture the files are different handled in LRTimelapse mode and different when the interval timer is used from the device screen.

Okey, did some test and suprised a little. i did not get any crash when i were in lrtimelapse mode + interval timer + raw+jpg
logs, lrtimelase mode, one whit jpg only and one whit raw+jpg:

i go field testing today, using this debug version, more info coming at the evening.
