Checking the ddserver installation and USB connection

Post by hubaiz » 05 Apr 2017, 12:07

Follow these steps:
- power on the MR3040/MR3020 and wait till it boots (the wireless LED in on)
- connect your DSLR (Nikon, Canon) with USB cable to the full size USB port on the MR3040/MR3020 (try to use the original cable that you get with your DSLR or a shorter one)
- power on your DSLR
- connect your controlling device wireless to the MR3040/MR3020 wireless (by default the AP name is DDServerAP)
- on your controlling device open a web browser and navigate to the OpenWrt web interface ( http://192.168.1.1 )
- navigate to the 'System'->'Software' page and check that you have a 'ddserver' package in the list
- next navigate to 'Status'->'System log' and scroll down to the end
at the end of the log you should have something like this

Code: Select all
