dslrdashboard crashes as soon as an image is clicked

i am using the latest updated software on the tplink MR3040.
The problem is when i start dslrdashboard on android and connect my camera using wifi. The dslrdasboard app runs fine.
But at times it does not "touch to autofocus" even with selecting the autofocus on tap in the setting.
Also the app crashes as soon as a picture is clicked.
please help.
