Problems connecting Canon 6D 1.1.8 internal wifi

Hi All,
I'm trying to connect my Canon 6D and since Android 8.1 I'm failing to do so.
What I did, I've deleted all smartphone profiles on the cam. Then I've created a new one with smartphone connection and paired it successful with the app canon camera connect. In this app the control and connecting is working.
However, trying to connect DSLR dashboard is not working at all. After clicking on the Canon icon the app is telling me that the search is finished.
Anyone with good suggestions how to connect?
