EOS R support?

Post by yves »

Hi

I bought the app because of this video https://youtu.be/5qmDZfzOsiY to take timelapse with my EOS R. Unfortunately it doesn't work and due to other topics here in relation to the EOS R5 and R6, the question arises whether Canon's systemcameras are supported at all?

First of all, it is not possible for me to take a picture with the EOS R using "Capture Sample". The camera then shoots images continuously, and i then have to get out of the timelapse function to cancel. On the last try, i even had to turn off the camera.

I then tried to start a timelapse anyway. Nothing happens when the Rollei-shutter-release is connected. The shutter-release clocks, but the camera does not take a picture. With the interval timer in the app, the same thing happens as with "Capture Sample", the camera just takes one picture after the other without sticking to the interval.

Is there a solution?

Is your camera set to single capture mode?
Check the 'Use Canon Local storage' option in qDslrDashboard settings, try disabling it before you connect the camera.
