Back to my original thread.

I managed to connect D700 and D810 to an old Nexus 7 tablet wirelessly with MR3040 and also via wired connection using USBOTG cable. Both D700 mand D810 worked immediately, which then induced me to read dslrDashboard User Manual so as to learn how to manage the UI. Transfers with JPEG were quite fast and Nexus response was good too. So this is to say thanks for what looks like a great project and to give some feedback on my findings...

After set up of MR3040 in AP mode, I have left MR3040 in AP mode and it works well. I this correct ?

I need to shoot RAW + JPEG and hoped that Nexus would only import JPEG thumbs. When gallery filter is 'all' or 'jpeg' I believe thumbnails for RAW are always downloaded to Nexus dslrdashboard gallery. Scrolling thru the gallery takes too long as RAW file is accessed. RAW thumbs appear in card slot view and dsltdashboard view. Is there a way to dissable downloading of RAW files completely, not even RAW thumbs being downloaded?

When shutter is triggered from Nexus the images are not displayed in one of the two gallery views. This is point of confusion but may be correct operation. In Camera Mode, all shots fired with shutter on camera appear in dslrdashbooard gallery view. But when shutter is triggered from Live View screen (not when Live View is invoked), the capture icon releases shutter but image appears only in camera card-slot gallery view and not in dslrdashboard gallery view?

Is there any way to have WiFi network connection to MR3040 established from dsldashboiard application automatically? At moment I have to access Nexus WIFI GUI to select and connect to DDserverAP? I cannot find an "Auto Connect" option in Nexus WiFi connections list either?

It is as well as any other setting. OpenWRT does not use this switch.

You can turn off viewing RAWs but cannot turn off downloading thumbs from them.
To turn off viewing/downloading RAWs by selecting only JPEGs from menu on top of screen while in gallery view. After this RAW files won't show in both views.

Android always connects automatically with WiFi network if it is available. You can only prioritize networks to connect with, if the are more than one saved network available.
You have to go through menu only if your phone/tablet is already connected to other WiFi.
