Brackets taking duplicate EV's?

Post by Bulldogg629 »

I've been using DSLRdashboard to shoot 5 shot brackets and recently I've gotten a lot of brackets that skip an exposure value and duplicate another. I was shooting in aperture priority, so is this from the camera changing it's metering mid bracket? Would shooting full manual prevent this? Is something else causing it? Thanks

Same problem here with both Canon 50D and Canon 7D. Tried various combinations of aperture, number of under/over exposure values and ev steps. Results in camera have always been the correct number of total steps but the aperture values and ev steps have been wrong.

Thanks!!!

1. What camera exposure mode
2. what BKT mode (in camera, or qDD)

Exposure mode was either AV or Manual (tested several times). Bracketing was in qdd.

Thanks,
