Connect your router to via a LAN cable to your router and login from your computer via ssh. You can install packages with opkg from the internet.
See here: http://wiki.koansoftware.com/index.php/ ... _a_website
Make the ddserver package available somewhere, perhaps in your LAN, then this should work on the ssh console of the router:

Code: Select all

opkg update
opkg install http://<your.server.somewhere>/path/to/ddserver_0.2-14_mipsel_24kc.ipk
This is the name of the latest ddserver.ipk file that I have anyway.

I yust wanted to confim that you can configure the TP-Link 3020 V3 successfully for dslrdashboard ...

I installed the Pulpstone image (Origin wrt does not contain libusb-10) and
installed following packages manually (One more advantage, it contains a web-ui):

I downloaded the packages from here (it is for the gl INet, but it is the same chipset):
http://sumerauer.de/downloads/ddserverInstall.zip

opkg install /tmp/libstdcpp.ipk
opkg install /tmp/ucxlibcxx.ipk
opkg install /tmp/ddserver.ipk

And thats it .. It works

Regards
Alex

Hi,
download the file http://sumerauer.de/downloads/ddserverInstall.zip and extract the zip file into a new folder.
Get the ipk file for ddserver from here https://goo.gl/h6YzPh and put it into the same folder.
Then transfer the four files to your router via scp. If you are on Windows, you can find out how to do this on the page https://openwrt.org/docs/guide-quick-st ... nistration under "Using WinSCP". Transfer the four files into the /tmp directory on the router.
Then you connect to the router, see "Using putty" on the same page above. You will get to a console where you can enter the opkg commands in the postings before.

Code: Select all

opkg install /tmp/libstdcpp.ipk
opkg install /tmp/ucxlibcxx.ipk
opkg install /tmp/ddserver.ipk
opkg install /tmp/ddserver_0.2-14_mipsel_24kc.ipk
Hope this helps

I have succesfull to install Ddserver in mr3020 ( with Pulpstone install). But the problems is when I connect my Nikon D800 to Mr3020, it works. I can see liveview but the respone from MR3020 is very slow. Download picture to my mobile is not full. It's take one to two minutes to D800 take picture from press button in qDSRL. Anyone have idea for this problems? Help me please!

I have also bought the MR3020 V3.20 - I thought I could follow the Henry Young youtube tutorial on OpenWRT flashing but that was for an older version of MR3020. I got to the point of putting DDServer OpenWrt MR3020 FACTORY
Download 3.75 MB 743 downloads on the router via the TPLink ipaddress. Stuffed something up as then I couldn't find the ddserver part to complete. Did a factory reset button on the router and now just looking for some written advice on the steps I should take and download links to get the right firmware onto the V3 device.
I am not tech savvy. Unless there is a step by step tutorial somewhere I will be completely lost. If there are semi decent instructions I will take to an IT professional and pay them to do it for me.
I use a Nikon D500 and you might say why not just set up the internal wifi with the Nikon firmware updates? Well I did that and managed to connect to the beta ControlMyCamera app on my iphone. Problem is that the area on the Nikon D500 that produces the wifi signal heats up abnormally fast on my camera. I do not want to risk overheating the camera through prolonged use for a timelapse. I mostly do astro so I need things to stay as cool as possible - therefore wanted to use the MR3020 option.
Please help. I read some of the threads on this forum and am very confused. If there is a v3 youtube tutorial out there please post the link here.
