Does Wifi encryption slow down connection ?

Usually it is wise to use encryption on a WiFi network.
Is this ok with qDD or will it somehow slow down the connection / FPS of live view ?
What encryption setting do you recommend ?

Depends on what devices you use. Usually secured WiFi shouldn't be slower than not secured.
