Hello, I've recently purchased a new nikon d3400, the bulb mode works?
I seemed to have read that it did not work, but tonight, connecting it, it seems to work.
Does it do something special that I can notice that Bulb mode does not work properly?
Because with a shot at 35" the photo was made ..

Nikon don't release documentation for developers for the D3400 so I don't know if it has the required remote command for bulb capture.
If it works then it means that Nikon did add that command to the D3400. If it is present qDD will use it and bulb capture will work.

Yes, I had read other posts that talked about this, but I wanted to try anyway because I would use it to photograph asteroids with the telescope.
And I was pleased that the bulb mode was selectable and that the shot would start, so I asked here.
Should it not be usable, the bulb mode should not be selectable?

If the 'BULB' settings is available in the shutter list that does not mean it will work.
Only if you can start the capture and the capture ends after the select time means that BULB mode works.
