5d2 connection questions

Hello,
I’ve tried searching in the forum but haven’t found quite what I’m looking for.
I need to purchase a wireless router for my Canon 5d2. I’ll be using it with my iPhone SE. My computer is a MacBook Pro.
I have downloaded ControlMyCamera from the App Store onto my iPhone and now want to have it work with my 5d2.
My questions:
1) What wireless routers are recommended?
2) What is the process for installing OpenWrt firmware?
3) What is a DDServer package and how/where do I install it?
Thanks ahead of time for any reply, and being patient in dealing with my totally noob questions.
