Hello,
I have developed a camera control and a mobile backup system with a Raspberry Pi. The device uses qDslrDashboard for control.
The Advanced Camera Device is a DIY project.
Who wants to build it finds information (at the moment only in German) under

I have released the first version of the operating system for the Advanced Camera Device. qDslrDashboard is not included in the image, but will be installed during the first boot via a query if there is an internet connection.
Who wants to try it needs a Raspbery Pi 3B or 3B + and an 8GB microSD card.
Connect a monitor to the HDMI output and a mouse and keyboard to the USB ports.

Download: ACD-OS-1.0.0.beta1.img.zip (3,6GB)

The operating system is based on a current Raspbian Stretch and contains the programs for backup, SDD formatting, etc. The programs can all be operated per touch display.

The operating system of the ACD has been updated to version 1.2.0. It now uses qDslrDashboard 3.5.9.
You can download the operating system in download area.

I have redesigned the housing for the Advanced Camera Device. It is now possible to manufacture the housing using the inexpensive FDM process.
The operating system is now also very stable and reliable with version 1.3.2. As of version 1.3.X, any number of supported cameras can now be used with the ACD without data from other cameras being overwritten.

The current qDslrDashboard version 3.5.9 will be installed automatically upon request.

Hi there,
I'm interested in building your system, and I've few questions about it.
- Is possible to use external SD and SSD drives instead of the internal you indicate in your system? if yes, how can i do that?
- Let's say that I want to monitor a project remotely, is there a way to do so?
Sorry if the questions sound NOOB but that's my case...
Thanks
