Hello

I searched the forum for this camera model and it revealed zero entries, and so I started this message to ask a question.

This camera has built-in Wi-Fi. I can connect it to my smartphone (iPhone 7+).

However, I cannot figure out how to have ConnectMyCamera app recognize the camera and pressing the "Sony" button does not connect.

Would someone know if it is possible and what the procedure might be?

According the 'Smart remote control' Playmemories specifications ( https://www.playmemoriescameraapps.com/ ... _00-F00002 ) the Sony Rx100 III should work.
Check if the latest 'Smart remote control' is installed on it ( https://www.playmemoriescameraapps.com/ ... _00-F00002 ).

The Play Memories app has been replaced with an app called Imaging Edge Mobile (App Store).

I will download and look at this app, thank you.

My original post was hoping to find a way to use ControlMyCamera but the Sony app may work just as well.

That is the 'Smart remote control' Playmemories application for the camera not for iOS/Android.
