Again, thanks for replying.

It's great to know I can get my tablet and camera working using your app.

Thanks very much! :D

I was testing Samsung TAB2 10.1 (P5110) with Android 4.2.2 and it can't be started correctly. There was a problem with OTG. Maybe to solve if you change programming options for USB.

But after upgrade P5110 to SlimRom7 (Android 7.1.2) everything works great (Canon 60D, 500D). In addition, my tablet is not loaded with Samsung apps and works with new apps previously not available for it (e.g. for FIMI X8).

How did you manage to upgrade from Android 4.2.2 to 7.1.2?
I couldn't find any decent enough instructions to follow.

Kind Regards

detailed steps:

1. KINGOROOT (I did it. Is it necessary? ;)
setup option: Root Android 4.2.2(Jelly Bean) with KingoRoot (PC Version) - be patient, update 15min or more ... ot-apk.htm

setup instruction without point 1 for Windows 10 ... ab-2-10-1/

download -> both necessary (SLIM7 best is lastest; PIKO is light but can be higher)
SLIM7 ... t_dir=DESC
setup instruction (first wipe 4.2.2, then installation SLIM7+GAPPS,PIKO)

be patient, the first startup takes about 5-15 minutes

With these steps I have a useful device for qDslrDashboard :)
But of course, everyone does it at their own risk...

Good luck!

Thank you very much, I really appreciate your time and help.
I will definitely try this out on my P5110 as I'm really keen to use qDslrDashboard.

Thanks again!
