Hide on-screen controls and counter?

Post by snakebyte »

Hello!

I apologize if this was asked before -- I did try googling for the answer.

There are a number of on-screen items that I have successfully removed, such as the grid, and the focus block, which appear when I turn on live view. I was wondering if it was possible to remove all of the other overlays that obstruct the video feed, such as the on-screen focus adjustment controls, "0.00", and a tic-tac-toe live view icon.

Due to some of the limitations of macOS and various applications, I have to "screen caputure" qdslrdashboard's output, and removing those artifacts would make that solution work perfectly. If I manipulate the window enough, I can get most of the overlays off of the feed, but not all, and by then I'm using way more of the screen real estate than I'd like.
