Nikon D750 - Intervalometer WIFI not working

Trying to use Control My Camera from an iPhone 8 for Holy Grail timelapses. Can connect with Wifi and apps works great except external intervalometer will not fire when app connected to camera. Can run timelapse in app itself but too buggy. Any setting I am missing so that Intervalometer will work?

Disable live view and be sure host mode is not enabled.
