How to set up ip address to tether shoot via internet (not local lan).

Hi,
I am using OpenWRT on TP-Link TL-MR-3020 V3 router and 5D Mark III camera. I use qDslrDashboard (mac version) and it works well with DDserver in local lan when I connect to the camera, but I can not figure out how to do remote shooting when I am in different location and I want to connect to the camera with qdslrdashboard.
Can someone please kindly guide me how to set-up a fixed ip address to remotely connect to the camera through qDslrDashboard.
