Hi,
I'm trying to establish a wifi connection with my EOS R. I first connect the mobile wifi to the camera through "Canon Connect" and when the connection is established I run qDslrDashboard and try to connect. The camera is found but I get the following message: "Failed to connect with wireless. Try to disable the mobile data and try again". I go to setting on my mobile, disable data and try again but it keeps issuing the same error message.
I've tried also with a Tablet (Android 10 as well) and get exactly the same behavior with the problem added that I cannot disable mobile data on the tablet because this option is not available as it is not connected to any carrier.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Pere
Can't connect Canon EOS R through WiFi with Android 10
Re: Can't connect Canon EOS R through WiFi with Android 10
Don't use the Canon application as it will prevent qDslrDashboard connection.
- enable the camera wireless
- connect your Android device wireless to the camera wireless
- start qDslrDashboard and press the 'Canon wireless' button
* close the Canon application (be sure it is not running in background)
* be sure that no other device is connecting to the camera wireless
- enable the camera wireless
- connect your Android device wireless to the camera wireless
- start qDslrDashboard and press the 'Canon wireless' button
* close the Canon application (be sure it is not running in background)
* be sure that no other device is connecting to the camera wireless
