I have a problem using qdslr-dashboard with my Nikon D7100 and my ASUS memopad fhd10: when I connect these two via WLAN (Nikon WU-1a) it works perfect, all the functions are there, download of the shots works.
But when I connect the camera via USB-OTG to the pad, it even doesn´t find the camera...
When I try my wifes D90 it works via USB-OTG! (except LV, but the D90 hasn´t got LV...)
I´m stupid, of course does the D90 have LV... mixed it up with my old D40. Sorry!
I tried all variations: switch on the D7100 first, then plug into pad. Switch on the pad first, then plug in the D7100, the switch this on... etc. nothing worked.
Could it have something to do with the connection? The D90 has a mini-USB-jack, the D7100 a special NIKON-only jack... I´m confused...
Maybe it is up to the USB OTG adapter.
I also have a D7100 and it works for sure with USB and Android (Nexus7, Samsung Galaxy S2)
Do you use the USB cable that came with the camera?
It is the original cable from Nikon.
I use it with my laptop and it works fine, only the combination D7100/Asus memopad fhd10 does not, what it should... maybe it´s up to the Asus...
And why? It´s the Nikon-USB-cable, it has a slack joint! Used it in the studio for product shots and the jack at the camera-side must have been bent...
So far, so good!
I´m afraid to tell you, that qdslr won´t start on my Samsung Galaxy S3 mini...
