Hi,
I use now Canon R family cameras. I installed qDSLRDashboard app on my android based smartphone and want to connect to my R/R5 wireless, if possible.
Unfortunately, there where many modes and parameters and whatever I tried, it fails.
Please, is there a list of actions/settings available to get it running?
Thanks a lot
With best regards
Gerhard

First make sure that your camera and smartphone are updated with the latest software and firmware. Next enable Wi-Fi on your camera and smartphone and connect them to the same network.
• On your camera, go to the menu and select the Wi-Fi function. Select Remote Control (EOS Utility) and press OK. You will see a screen with the SSID and encryption key.
• On your smartphone, launch the qDSLRDashboard app and go to the connection screen. Tap the Wi-Fi button and select the camera's SSID from the list. Enter the encryption key when prompted and press OK.
You should eventually see a "Connected" message on both your camera and smartphone as a success.
