Hi,
I just changed from a Nikon D750 to a Sony A7 IV, but I have a problem to connect the camera to a Mac or a Android Device.
I used the qDslrDashboard V3.6.7 macOS x64 to connect the Sony A7 IV via USB-C to USB-C on a Macbook M1Pro.
I saw the LiveView from the camera but I could not capture an image with qDslrDashboard.
The better solution on location would be to control the camera via smartphone.
I have an older Samsung Galaxy A5 and downloaded latest version 3.6.8. of qDslrDashboard for android from the play store.
I turned on the Direct Wifi on the Sony A7 IV and connected the Smartphone to the Camera Wifi.
Then I opened qDslrDashboard und pushed the Sony Button, it says "Found Sony SonyImagingDevice wireless camera, can't connect"
So my question: Is the Sony A7 IV not yet supported?
Did I miss something?
Thanks!
Erik
Is the Sony A7 IV supported ?
Re: Is the Sony A7 IV supported ?
No, the Sony a7 IV will not yet work fully. I began working on it but without a proper documentation and a physical device it is slow and hard to make a proper implementation.
