ipad won't connect to DDserver

I am able to connect to the wireless TPP Link server with a MacBook Pro (10.10.3_ and an iPhone, but not my iPad (the device I wish to use on location). In settings, the ipad shows it is connected to the TPPLink device, but DSLRdashboard doesn't see it. I am using V0.2.7 on the Mac, 0.2.8 on the iPhone and the iPad. The iPad is iOS 8.3, the iPhone 8.2. Did ios 8.3 break something? Am I missing something?

I heard from Zoltan with a solution. Althought the IP address was stored in the app, I had to do the long press on the network button and press connect. Now it is up and running.
