Help: qDslrDashboard stopped working

Post by ktt858 »

Hi,

I need help. My qDslrDashboard stopped working on of a sudden on both my iPad and Android phone.
From my iPad: When I tried to connect to the camera, although the message (on the bottom left corner of the screen) displays "No Dslr found on DDS server", the application still takes me to the regular screen where all the regular buttons such Lv, AF, LRtimelapse are located. But I can not take picture in both regular screen and LRTimelapse screen. The previous version used to work previously.

I then switched to my Android phone (qDSLDashboard version V02.7) and saw the same problem. This setup used to worked previously.

I noticed this problem occurred right after I updated qDslrDashboard on my iPad to version V02.8
Thank you in advance for your help.

Can you try and turn off/on the router?
Please update to V0.2.9 on Android.

Hi Zoltan,

I installed version 2.9 on Android, and turn off/on the router, but still seeing the same problem. I wonder Should I re-install the software in my router?

Thanks,

What DSLR do you using?
Pair your Android or iOS wireless with the MR3040 wireless.
Connect your DSLR with USB to the MR3040 and turn the camera on.
Open your web browser on your Android or iOS and navigate to http://192.168.1.1

You should get the OpenWrt web interface.
Navigate to Status->System log and scroll down, you should have something like this:

Code: Select all

May 21 08:48:57 Arduino kern.info kernel: [ 8270.960000] usb 1-1.1.3: new high-speed USB device number 15 using ehci-platform
May 21 08:48:57 Arduino kern.info kernel: [ 8271.070000] usb 1-1.1.3: New USB device found, idVendor=04b0, idProduct=0423
May 21 08:48:57 Arduino kern.info kernel: [ 8271.070000] usb 1-1.1.3: New USB device strings: Mfr=1, Product=2, SerialNumber=3
May 21 08:48:57 Arduino kern.info kernel: [ 8271.070000] usb 1-1.1.3: Product: NIKON DSC D5000
May 21 08:48:57 Arduino kern.info kernel: [ 8271.070000] usb 1-1.1.3: Manufacturer: NIKON
Do you have that?

Navigate to System->Software and check if you have the ddserver package (0.2-13)
