maybe I missed it or I cant see it, but is there a way to disable picture saving on tablet and laptop ?
I am pretty sure that I looked for that option and I cant find it, only one that I can see is delete thumbnails on exit
but last night my tablet got full of raw files and it stoped shooting
that's not that big of a problem on my laptop, but I don't see it necessary to have 2 copy of pictures, one on my camera and another one on tablet, plus it slows down everything in my opinion
on tablet i have .029 version and on laptop 0.3 version

Re: Pictures on laptop / tablet
There is - all is written in the qDD manual.
You can change where pictures are saved from camera settings (qDD menu with many icons) or by long pressing capture button.
Also when you have checked "image review after capture" I qDD settings and take photos only in RAW format, that picture will be downloaded.

Re: Pictures on laptop / tablet
I hope you dont mind with all this "stupid" questions from my side
so.., I did uncheck Show capture history after capture
I did unchek image review after capture
I DID check - delete thumbs on exit
I did change the folder ( I did see this before ) for local images
I started software
did 5 pictures on first screen, then switched to LRT did 5 "capture sample" switched back to first screen, again 5 pictures and back.. so 20 pictures total, closed all and exit program, and looked into folder I specified
There are 20 pictures and 5 of them are raw files
I am using Canon 6D and raw + jpg option in the camera, connected via usb cable to my laptop

Re: Pictures on laptop / tablet
If you want to use LRT you need to save the pictures on the tablet/laptop because the programm analyzes the pictures to correct the exposure, aperture and ISO

Re: Pictures on laptop / tablet
Try it again with capture samples in the lrt-mode normally only the jpeg pictures should be transfered. Because you mentioned that you changed the view several times while taking pictures so its not clear which raws where transferder (or I didn't see that you mentioned it)
Re: Pictures on laptop / tablet
ok.. like this
I started program , connected my dslr and
1. first I did take 5 pictures
2. switched to lrt, and made 5 samples
3. switched back to first screen , made 5 pictures
4. switched to lrt, did 5 pictures again
5. looked into folder:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/4191ovlch8j9u ... r.jpg?dl=0
so.. if I did all like that. .in my opinion I should have had all jpgs or all raw files, since I didnt touch any other options, but for some reason I didnt get that
