Delay between exposures, Cust BKT

Post by Johan Lindgren »

Hi there

I would find it very nice to be able to remove the delay that occurs between the bracketed shots, if i shoot 5 bracketed exposures the delay between the exposures is very long compared to what i'll get if i use the in camera built-in feature(disconnected from smartphone, that is). But then however i'm limited to 3 frames (Nikon D90) and it cannot be used together with the Interval time feature :(

Thanks for this great piece of software(little buggy sometimes, but works like a charm mostly(Android))

Cheers
Johan

The camera works a bit different when connected with USB.

It does not depend on the communication used (USB, wireless) but up to camera and the SD card.
The faster the camera can write the images to the SD card the faster will it process the next capture.

While remote control camera has to finish capture sequence to start another.
Capture sequence includes writing photos to SD card or downloading them to control device.

Ok, i got it...Thanks

I saw that my SD-card was a class4 (15MB/s), so i ordered a qucker and bigger, hopefully that will make some improvement.
Also, is there any specific settings in qDslrDashboard i can make to reduce communication with my phone, to speed things up just a little more ?

Nop.
There isn't that much of a communication, the packets are small.
Only exception is when live view is enabled or downloading an image.
