Mirror lockup & Sky Stacking on Canon EOS 40D

Post by selste »

Hi,
installed the latest Beta on a Linux Notebook and an Android tablet, working really well so far ... with one exception:

When i activate 'Mirror lockup' in the menu the option is displayed on the main screen and i can set a timeout of up to 3 seconds, but when i set up Sky Stacking and start the sequence no picture is taken.
Tried the same setup on a Canon EOS 60Da - no problems, mirror locks, 3 second delay and then the shutter opens.

Would be really great to see the lockup working correctly, makes all the difference when doing Deep-Sky-Imaging with longer focal lengths.
If i can assist in any way fixing this problem (Debugging, Logs, etc.) please let me know!
Cheers,

Steffen

p.s.: Forgot to mention that the mirror lockup works for single exposures on the 40D
