Just got a refurbished Nikon D5300 and recently started using qDslrDashboard for timelapses. I've been running into a strange problem though and I'm wondering if anyone can offer their thoughts. Throughout the timelapse, some of the images are "shifted" a few pixels in one direction. It's always shifted by the same amount, and in the same direction, and it's typically only one frame at a time. This leads me to suspect that it's not the tripod or any actual movement of the camera.
Here's an example of the problem. By scrolling through them you can see that DSC_0077.JPG and DSC_0084.JPG are shifted a few pixels.
Any thoughts? Could this be an issue with qDslrDashboard or my camera?
Very grateful for any input, and very grateful for qDslrDashboard. Thanks!
Problem: Shifting Images in Timelapse
Re: Problem: Shifting Images in Timelapse
That has nothing to do with qDD.
qDD does nothing to photos, just downloads them from camera. If they are shifted than it's problem with camera or tripod.
And first rule when using tripod - turn of VR.
