So I have installed qDSLRDashboard on Windows 8.1 64-bit. I installed version 0.3.4 and then the fix for USB.
The camera (Canon 7D Mark II) is not seen by the program.
I checked the drivers for the camera and WinUSB drivers are listed.
The camera can be controlled by Canon's own software (EOS Utility) and also by Helicon Remote.
I would prefer to use qDSLRDashboard because the focus stacking is much better implemented (I found this when it used to work on my Nexus tablet - it doesn't any more).
Any idea why this would not be recognised - I thought the 0.3.4-fix was supposed to address exactly this?
Thanks
