Hi, I have a Nexus 7 a Lenovo tablet and a very old vodafone 875 with firmware 4.1.1 and ALL connect with the 3040 and also to the internet router when needed in house, recently I was given a used Samsung ACE3 GT-57275R a bit battered round the sides but the screen not a mark and firmware 4.2.2.
The problem is that if I connect to the house router to up date the phone when I disconnect and try to invoke the 3040 link I keep getting no connection available and tells me it is an open connection so I cannot get an option after saying forget to re-input the password, if I don't connect to the net then the 3040 connection works great. Cannot figure out why it should work on the other three but not this one?
