ISO increases independent in time lapse mode

Post by windhau.ch »

Hi all,
when starting a time lapse using the LRTimelapse option on the right hand side, it opens after few minutes the selection of the ISO. It looks similar when pressing on the bottom the green ISO value. As soon as the selection opened (looks like from a ghost), the ISO gets higher and higher - much more as set to the max ISO at the end of the time lapse. That happens even the before the shutter gets changed.
Do you have any idea, why that happen or how to avoid it?

Many thanks, René

Can you make a screenshot with your LrTimelapse settings and your camera settings?
What interval did you use?

The interval is set to 20 sec

the time lapse starts with the above setting

after few pictures, the ISO selection opens automatically

it takes again few pictures, the ISO selection closed and the ISO value was set to 320

few minutes later, the ISO selection opens again

the same as earlier happen again - the ISO selection closed and the ISO value was set to 1'000
when the shutter reached the max. value (15 sec), the ISO selection opened again and the value was set to 400

What are your camera settings? Is the camera in M mode? Is auto ISO disabled?
What where the other settings of the LrTimelapse?

yes - the Camera is set to M-Modus. Also the ISO Automatic is disabled and the Auto-focus is turned off. The Camera is connected via USB with the Mobile. There I tried multiple Cables without success. I tried also with and without Auto NTC - no difference.

The LRTimelapse Settings are set to:
- Avg pool size: 3 avg.
- Transfer every: 3 frame
- EV step: 0.33 EV
- Auto direct: false
- Use Aperture ramping: false

I still don't get what is the problem.
The ISO selection will only open if the users presses the ISO button.
Can you make a video that will demonstrate the problem?
It would help if I could see the camera properties display (while on device screen the second button from top on the right side).
Also if I could see the rest of the LrTimelapse screen and settings.
