No capture in Live view

I am using the latest version, downloaded from the website yesterday.Camera: Nikon D 700.
When Live view is off and I press the capture button everything works fine. The picture is capured in the camera as well as on the tablett.
When I go to live view in qdsldashboard und then press the capture button, a window shows up "capture in progress" but then no picture was captured neither on the device, NOR IN THE CAMERA.
I have checked the settings (but it would be surprising if capture works differently if live view is on or off), tried several times, shut down the device in between - always the same. Live view off: works fine, Live view on: no capture.
I ensured that if camera is disconnected and set to live view everything works fine.
And: with the old dslrdashboard loaded from the playstore, everything works fine, capture in live view as well.
Can someone help me to solve that ?
kind regards
Manfred

Do you capture to local device (capture button is red) or to camera SD card (capture button is white)?
Is the AF button white or red?

Ah, and does the camera react when you press the capture button while in live view?
Does it maybe stop the live view? Does it start the capture?

The button is white. I also played with capturing to the device (button red) but then the pic is only saved on the device and not in the cam. This is not what I can use. I don't remember (and can't test right now) if the capture worked in that case with Live view - but again this would not help anyway. I need the file on the cam.
The camera does react and as I was writing , on the device a window comes up "capture in progress" , orange frame in front of a black screen (so live view stops). After two or three seconds, the cam (and device) goes back to live view - but no pic has been captured, not on the cam, not on the device.
I would exclude a cam malfunction as everything works fine with your old dslrdashboard app from playstore.

more info: I now tested with my Nikon D300S. On first attempt the app crashed but then picture capture worked fine both w/ and w/o live view.
Back to the D700, same as before, no picture captured in life view.
Seems at least the latest version of the qdslrdashboard app has a problem with some cams, at least with the D700. Remember: it works with the old app from playstore.
Do you think you can find out the cause and fix it ?
kind regards
Manfred

Here is V0.2.7 Android debug build:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BxMZ8X ... sp=sharing
It will create a qdd_<date_time>.log file in your Documents folder, please send the file(s) to the support email.
First try to make a capture then enter live view and try to make a capture from live view.

Hello,
same here. My D700 does take also no pictures in LV. Is the Problem solved already?
Because, it seems like that the issue not solved in the actual version 0.30 beta10.
Best wishes

Hello,
ok now qDSLR-Dashboard is not any longer for free, iam totally agree. But its totally rediculous to delete DSLR-Dashboard, bceause for D700 user its not possible to use q-dslr dashboard because of the liveview bug, which is still not fixed since a long time. When you make it for pay, THEN fix the bugs which are known for a long time.
Please make DSLR-Dashboard accedible for users with older Cameras.

Can you make a capture of the qDslrDashboard 'camera properties display' to see what settings are set for the camera?
Also check the settings for 'Dynamic AF on AF-C' and 'Dynamic AF on AF-S'. Are those set to 'Focus' or 'Release' ? If they are set to 'Focus' please change them to 'Release'
