D5300 Nikon Wi-Fi no longer enabled

My D5300 turns off the Wi-Fi, at the source in the camera, every time the record video button is pushed.
Any Ideas?
No problem with the shutter or other controls.

Yeah... Read camera manual. In there you have written that this will happen.

Then this program will not work to use an iPad mini as a monitor? Is there a way to treather it and use something like a hmdi lightening jack with this app?

Would a WU-1A wireless Nikon adaptor bypass the internal wi-fi and let the app run the video due to external wi-f?

With camera connected with USB (no matter if it is WU-1, wifi router or just cable) you can record video.
