Nexus 7 2013 & Canon 6D

Hi

I have just bought a factory reset Nexus 7 (2013) that was updated to marshmallow 6.something or other and purchased QDSLRDashboard via the google play store. I've now tried to connect it to my canon 6D both wirelessly and via an OTG cable, both methods fail everytime, nothing happens.

I'm left scratching my head ! Where am I going wrong ? Any advice for a novice ?

OK I have been playing with this again this evening and I have now managed to get the wifi connected, but really I wanted to connect via an OTG cable and I am still struggling with that one. Maybe my cable is duff ? Any advice welcome.

Have yoi checked if your tablet has full USB-host support ??

Use "USB Device Info" app. Connected camera has to be visible and identified in both tabs.
