I am looking at some of the 360 panoramic camera's at the moment and came across the Ricoh Theta S digital camera. It would be great if your software was able to interface with this camera to allow for some more advanced uses (e.g. HDR and so on).
It appears the camera has an API, and wireless access as well:

Of course stitching could not be done in your app, but at least the more advanced settings could be configured and then stitching handled in another app.
