Night timelapse issue

Last night I tried to capture the stars and planned to leave the camera outside all night to also capture the sunrise. I set it the camera on T-8s, A-4.5, ISO-400, which according to the camera was the correct exposure. I sett qDDb to auto holy grail sunrise at an interval of 30 seconds. After an hour or so I discovered that the settings hat changed to T-1/15, A-8 ISO 100 - hence all my frames were severely underexposed. The light had not changed (it was still night), even if it did it did not change in the order of the correction made by qDDb.

Any clues on understanding why this happened? I used it the same evening for a sunset, and it just worked perfectly.

EOS 40D, qDDb 0.3.4, Android USB/OTG connected.

Are you also ramping the aperture?
I will check the code to see if there is some error but in my testing didn't had this.

Yes, I was using aperture ramping. I was using the same set-up during the sunset a few hours earlier (but in sunset mode), and it worked like a dream for that.
