I am connecting my 5D MKII via cable to an android tablet and I am getting no hint of any connection at all. When I click on the dashboard app on my android all I get is a line like a tool bar across the top of the screen whether it is connected to the camera or not. The android (NEXUS 7) charges through the usb port fine. I have to set up the TP-Link MR-3040 but I want to get qdslrdashboard working first. Thanks

Use correct USB-OTG adapter and current USB cable. I had problems with 6D which needs cable with very long mini-usb plug. Standard cables didn't work.


Also Nexus 7 has some limitations with usb-host and might not work with out root and installing system with full usb-host functionality.
