Connection stability problems (iPAD, TP-Link)

Hi,
I have Wifi connection stability problems between iPad Air2 and TP-Link. All devices have the latest FW installed as well as latest app from the Apple store. When connection is established, I can take a snapshot (Nikon Coolpix L110) but as soon as image download process starts, connection is dropped. I need to reconnect but, again, as soon as I go to the storage of the camera to see the picture that was taken, connection drops again.
Is there any Wifi setup either on the TP-Link side or iPad side that would make the connection more robust?
